Are you looking for a school of nursing in the United States? We at Nursing Ninjas are excited to announce that our directory of nursing schools is in the process of being constructed! Search through our extensive list of schools that offer nursing programs to find your opportunity at a nursing education!
There is a wide variety of nursing schools in America, each with their own select criteria and benefits to the nursing student. This diversity gives opportunity to prospective nursing students who can’t be called the “traditional student”.
Admission criteria changes from one school to the next. All the rumors you may have heard that talk about the competitiveness and the long waiting lists of nursing school admissions are true. This is especially true of the more popular schools as well as nursing schools in the more populated areas. However, the prospective nursing student should also consider other schools that may not be as competitive or have a waiting list a mile long. Schools that exist in less populated areas tend to not have as many applicants and are therefore easier to get into.
Many returning students who are now completely serious about their academics may not have been at their first try at college. This could seriously hurt their chances of getting into a nursing school that takes into account their cumulative GPA of every single college class they have ever taken. Some schools just consider certain science classes that pertain to nursing and disregard the GPA of classes such as history or pottery 101. This nursing school directory will help you in your research for the school of nursing that best fits you. You may just have to travel a few hundred…or perhaps a few thousand miles.
(Just a quick note: The actual directory is still being constructed. We have gotten as far as Arkansas. Excuse us for any inconvenience. Such a directory takes an incredibly long time.
